Robert Kusén aka Qcello
is an artist/songwriter /producer from a suburb just south of Stockholm
Sweden. The music started with making hip hop
tracks on the family stereo influenced by the MC’s at the
time. 15 years old Qcello found the guitar and Guns and Roses. It
was the the beginning of the hard rock era playing and singing in
different bands as Pike and Roarape.
1998 was the year that Qcello decided to leave the band concept
to really investigate his own skills
in music making, without having to compromise with
others.
The journey brought him back
to the American urban music of soul
and hip hop and mixed with the melancholic sound
of Qcello’s voice and the some what philosophical lyrics
defines the new sound of Qcello.
